Opportunity

The Opportunity Board in LogixCRM provides a centralized and intuitive interface to manage your sales opportunities. With features like grouping, status tracking, and detailed opportunity management, you can efficiently track and close deals.

Features Available in the Opportunity Board

 

1. Grouping Opportunities

  • Opportunities can be grouped together for better organization and management.

2. Opportunity Status

Each opportunity can have one of the following statuses:

  • New: A newly created opportunity.

  • Decision Pending: Awaiting a decision from the customer.

  • Deferred: The opportunity has been postponed.

  • In Negotiation: Actively negotiating terms with the customer.

  • Lost: The opportunity was not won.

  • On Hold: Temporarily paused.

  • Qualified: The opportunity has been qualified as a potential deal.

  • Quotation Sent: A quotation has been sent to the customer.

  • Reopened: A previously closed opportunity has been reopened.

  • Won: The opportunity has been successfully closed.

You can change the status of an opportunity as it progresses through the sales pipeline.

3. Opportunity Details

Each opportunity row displays the following details:

  • Number: A unique identifier for the opportunity.

  • Status: The current status of the opportunity (e.g., Quotation Sent, Won, In Negotiation).

  • Business Model: The type of business model associated with the opportunity.

  • Company: The company associated with the opportunity.

  • Contact: The primary contact person for the opportunity.

  • Owner: The team member responsible for managing the opportunity.

  • Service: The service type (e.g., Air Export, Shipping Export).

  • Probability (%): The likelihood of closing the opportunity, often calculated based on historical data or manual input.

  • Amount: The monetary value of the opportunity

4. Filtering and Sorting

  • The Opportunity Board allows you to filter and sort opportunities based on various criteria, such as status, service type, or amount.

  • Example: You can filter opportunities to show only those with the status Quotation Sent or sort them by Amount in descending order.

5. Detailed Opportunity View

  • Clicking on an opportunity row opens a detailed view where you can:

    • Add notes or comments.

    • Track communication history.

    • Update the opportunity’s progress.

    • Attach relevant documents.

 

Opportunity Detail Screen

The Opportunity screen allows you to track potential deals from creation to closure. It records key activities such as status changes, quotations, documents, and shipment creation. By managing opportunities effectively, you can streamline your sales pipeline, improve visibility, and ensure smooth coordination between teams.


 

Activity

  • The Activity tab provides a timeline of all updates and changes related to the opportunity.

  • You can track:

    • Status changes (e.g., New → Won).

    • Shipment creation events.

    • Opportunity creation events.

  • Additional features:

    • Add Notes to record internal discussions.

    • Send Email directly from this tab to engage with customers.

 

Opportunity Detail

  • The Opportunity Detail tab shows complete information about the opportunity.

  • Includes:

    • Customer information.

    • Linked contacts.

    • Freight type and service details.

  • If the opportunity is for Freight Forwarding, the tab provides full shipment movement details for better tracking.

 

Quotation

  • The Quotation tab is used to create and manage price offers for customers.

  • Actions include:

    • Creating a new quotation.

    • Reviewing or updating an existing quotation.

  • Quotations are automatically linked with the opportunity for visibility.

    • Sending RFQs to vendors for shipment handling.
