The Quotation Templates feature helps businesses create standardized formats for sharing pricing details with customers.
By using templates, organizations can ensure consistency, reduce manual effort, and improve the accuracy of quotes across freight forwarding, transportation, and warehousing services.
Steps to Manage Quotation Templates
1. Navigate to Quotation Templates
From the left-hand menu, go to System Settings > Quotation Templates
Select the Business Model (Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Warehousing) for which you are creating the template.
Each category will display its relevant template(s).
2. View and Customize a Template
Select a template (e.g., Freight Forwarding Template 1).
Review the details such as:
Shipper and Receiver information
Package details (quantity, dimensions, weight)
Charges (freight, tax, total)
Payment terms
If customization is required, edit fields before saving.
4. Save the Template
Once finalized, save the template.
The quotation can then be sent to customers in a standardized format.
Notes / Best Practices
Use different templates for different service types (freight vs warehousing) to avoid confusion.
Keep terms and conditions updated in each template.
Always verify tax percentages and currency before sending quotations internationally.
Templates can be reused for multiple clients, reducing repetitive work.
